No doubt Lawro, Hansen or Shearer will be slitting their wrists.

For all the "breath of fresh air" Blackpool have been and the slating they have given us all season what are they going to say now?

It wasnt the most exciting match it must be said but I hope they give us longer than 30s and give us the credit we deserve for perseverence in the tightest campaign their has ever been.

You would hope we are on before Blackburn!

The trouble with today is that, unless they want to do a feature on how many decisions went against us, there wouldn't be an awful lot to show. There wasn't a great deal of attempts on target.

Takes nothing away from the win for me at all though. Solid stuff in my opinion.

To be honest, seeing his face afterwards I thought it had hit him square in the face.

I'm the motd editor.

Could possibly discuss:

Huth's shocking handball and blatent lie when he pretended it hit his face
Ziggys goal to game ratio of late
Our change in fortunes
...honestly can't think of anything to say about Stoke other than Huth the censoreder.

Tbf they said more than I expected. Also made it look like Blackpool hammered the ***** over the road :D

I LOVE DJ CAMPBELL

I used to like Lineker. Why the snivelling delivered remark about Blues scoring less than any other premier league club.

No we havent quite got our forward play as we want it. We are working on it. It will get better. Why not give us credit as we try to establish ourselves into an above average premier league club.

We know we are not a top 6 side but we have every right to progress our club and their are plenty in the midlands who are interested in how they are doing.

the thing is, that is a fact - less goals have been scored at st andys than anywhere else...
#so why didnt they talk about how our defense at home have been good and not conceeded much? not only have we not scored many at home, we havent let any in either

I loved Eck's comments at the end about not football as we know it, and almost doing a stoke to stoke city. He looked like to was trying to not to grin at the end but couldn't help it.

Does anybody on here really think that any neutrals are going to give a rats ass about Blues v Stoke? This would have been the one game this weekend nobody would have wanted to watch.

It's no different to how we would feel about Blackburn V Bolton or Stoke v Fulham. They are unattractive games to neutrals.

but we're not neutrals, we're mad on blues!!! they should see the light!! yes it's nice to see the overpaid cabbages of the manchester derby, but the whole ethos of motd is to spread the word about footy to all fans, regardless of persuasion

Funny that we had the advertising hoardings moved closer to the edge of the pitch to deter Delap's long throw! Clever.

Yeah, and I'm sure the viewing vigures would be great extended highlights of Blues, Stoke, Blackburn, Wigan, Bolton, West Brom, Wolverhampton, Blackpool and Fulham, followed by the goals from Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea.

Get real. Who would watch that?

In fairness there wasn't a lot of football to show from yesterday's game.

the real fans who might like to see more than 30 secs of their team? football isn't about the top 6 imo, it's about the entire league
